Wokha, June 12 (MExN): The Wokha district administration has imposed traffic restrictions around the Deputy Commissioner's office on June 16 in view of the polling for the Ward 8 (Tsumang B) election to the Wokha Town Council.
In a traffic advisory, Deputy Commissioner K Mhathung Tsanglao said the entry of all vehicles, including private and government vehicles, beyond the DC office gate will be prohibited from 6 am until the completion of polling.
The restriction has been imposed to ensure the free, fair and smooth conduct of the election notified by the State Election Commission.
The district administration has requested all concerned to comply with the advisory and cooperate with the authorities during the polling process.
