DIMAPUR, JULY 26 (MExN): For better traffic management and orderly conduct of public affairs, Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Shanavas C, in consultation with all concerned stakeholder, has made the following traffic regulation for commercial vehicles.
For departure timing of commercial vehicles which include Tata Sumos, Village bus- both private and NST and Mokokchung bus, the DC has notified that the timing would be 1:30 pm (summer) from March to October and 1 pm (winter) from November to February.
The DC has restricted loading/unloading of mini-truck/heavy truck and parking in the town area from 8 am to 3 pm.
For allotment of parking area, Tata Sumo/Village bus (Pvt/NST) for Suruhuto, Atoizu, Akuluto, VK town to be parked in New Colony where as for Satakha, Aghunato and Satoi, parking area has been allotted at Daily Market.
For local taxi parking- Parking lot no -I -New Colony; Parking lot no -II-Project Colony, Parking lot no - III - Daily Market (behind mini truck parking), Parking lot no -IV-BOC-Hospital road junction. For Tata mobile/Bolero pick-up, parking has been allotted at KL Chishi junction while parking for mini-truck parking has also been allotted at Daily Market below SP Office.
The DC also notified that foot path vegetable vendors will not be permitted to sell their product on the road. Strict action will be imitated against any defaulters.
In this connection, the DC has appealed all concerned vehicle owners and general public to take note and to comply strictly with the order failing which necessary panel action shall be initiated.
