Thahekhu Youth FC edged past Kacharigaon Blitz FC 2-1 in a thrilling match at the ongoing Dimapur Division League (DDL) on Friday afternoon at Signal Village playground.
With today's win, Thahekhu YFC retained their third position in the league standings with 26 points.
Diphupar SC are on top with 35 points followed by Chekiye SC with 31 points. Purana Bazar SC are in the fourth slot with 23 points.
The football league which commenced on October 6 last will culminate on December 11.
Friday's match was graced by Generally Secretary, Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Sanjay Sethi as chief patron. Sethi was accompanied by DCCI Vice President, V Shikuto Achumi.
The Dimapur Division League, which was introduced this year, is powered by Ayida Honda motors, Naharbari.
