Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): The Dimapur District Taekwondo Association (DDTA) will organise the 25th DDTA Kyorugi and 2nd Poomsae District Taekwondo Championship from June 11 to 13 at the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex near DC Court Junction in Dimapur.
In preparation for the championship, office bearers and executive members of the association, led by president Howoto Jakhalu, held a meeting on May 17 at Oak House in Bank Colony, Dimapur.
During the meeting, members unanimously resolved to ensure the successful conduct of the championship and encourage wider participation from taekwondo athletes across the district.
The association reiterated its commitment to promoting discipline, sportsmanship and excellence through the practice of taekwondo. DDTA also extended its best wishes to all participating athletes and urged them to prepare diligently for the championship while upholding the spirit of martial arts, dedication and perseverance.
The association said the 25th edition of the championship marked a significant milestone and was expected to witness enthusiastic participation from athletes across various age categories.
DDTA further invited sports enthusiasts, well-wishers and members of the public to support the young athletes during the championship.
