DIMAPUR, MAY 31 (MExN): Dearness relief to pensioners and family pensioners of the Nagaland government has been enhanced from the existing rate of 38% to 42% with effect from January 1, 2023.
Informing this, Addl Chief Secretary & Finance Commissioner, Sentiyanger Imchen in an office memorandum said payment of dearness relief involving a fraction of a rupee shall be rounded off to the next higher rupee.
It also requested the Principal Accountant General, Nagaland to circulate this office memorandum to Accountant General of all states so that pensioners of Nagaland government drawing pensions under their jurisdiction may be authorized for payment of this relief at the earliest.
