Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India District level Declamation contest on ‘Patriotism and Nation Building’ was held at Jubilee Memorial College under the theme 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas' organised by NYKS, Mokokchung on October 4.
Limanungla, NYV, NYK, Mokokchung, while delivering the keynote address said that the declamation contest was a national level contest and that the competition was held in all block and district level. She said that the contest is an opportunity for youths to exhibit their talents and a platform for youth to come together and create awareness for a stronger and a united country.
The declamation contest had 19 participants from different colleges and institutions.
The judges for the competition included Dr. Amongla, Vice - Principal, People's College, Watitoshi, Assistant Prof. Fazl Ali College and Mulato Keny, Assistant Prof. Jubilee Memorial College.
Moasenla of Jubilee Memorial College was declared the winner while Akumsunep from Department of Economics, NU, Lumami and Noklensangyu of Jubilee Memorial College was declared the second and third prize winner respectively of the declamation contest.
