Demise of Head GB Pungro Town mourned  

Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): The GPRN/ NSCN Kilonser Maj (Retd)  Kewongkhum Yimkhiung  has expressed  grief and condoled the demise of Head GB Pungro Town, T Musumong Yimkhiung on September 15.

In a press note, Kewongkhum described Musumong as one of the prominent leader among the Yimkhiung tribe, who always stood and uphold the righteousness and principle of the people and society as well.  Musumong was also a man of dignity and integrity who is also known as a ‘bright morning star’ for the Yimkhiung people in particular and Eastern Nagas in general.

His passing away has created a huge vacuum and a great loss to the people which will be difficult to fill, Kewongkhum said while conveying prayer to the Almighty to grant solace and comfort to the bereaved family at this  grieving moment and for the soul to rest in eternal peace. 

MLA T Ynagseo Sangtam in another condolence message expressed deep sadness and shock by the demise of Musumong Head GB Pungro Town.

The MLA regarded Musumong as a resolute and principle leader, who always thought Socio-Economic development and cultural values. His legacy will be always remains and cherished by generations to come as a man of upright personality. “Many will mourn at his passing away as his life was full of compassion, excellence, dedication and selfless service for the people of Pungro Sub-division. The vacuum created by his lost is irreplaceable,” the MLA stated.

“I convey my sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and pray that God will give been courage and strength to bear the grievous loss. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace,” he added.
