Departments asked to submit GPF proposals

Dimapur, June 14 (MExN): The Finance department informs all administrative heads and heads of departments to make submissions on the revised guidelines for submission of proposals for GPF Final Payment to Finance (general branch) for issue of ‘Drawal Authority’. A memorandum from the department listed the service category.

The service category Grade I, II and III are required retirement release orders (the original and two Xerox copies) and GPF Final sanctioned by the AG (the original and two Xerox copies); the service category Grade-IV are required retirement release order (the original and two Xerox copies), GPF sanction order (the original and two Xerox copies) and GPF Pass-Book/Ledgers (the original and a Xerox copy); for Death Cases the requirements are Death Certificate issued by the Economics and Statistics department (two Xeroxed copies), Succession Certificate issued by magistrates with claimant’s photo to be affixed (two Xeroxed copies), GPF Sanction Order (original and two Xeroxed copies) and GPF Pass Book-Grade IV (the original and a Xeroxed copy).    

All the departments in concern are advised to carefully cross check the correctness of GPF accounts under submission and to verify the relevant documents to ensure that the proposals to the Finance department is complete and correct in all respects. Xeroxed documents and photo-copies are to be attested by Controlling Officers of respective departments only, the memorandum stated.
