DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 3 (MExN): The opening ceremony of the 3rd Open Volleyball Tournament organised by Dobagaon Eralibill Sumi Students Union was held on October 3 at Eralibill with Hutokhu Awomi, Class 1 Contractor as special guest.
The special guest, in his speech, urged the players to participate in the tournament by celebrating the value of a true sportsmanship. He stated that sport is also a platform for a person to learn, strive and succeed in life. He encouraged the young players to be disciplined, respect each others ability and embrace the essence of sports in ones life and urge the students’ body to be an agent of change and unity in our society. All together 14 teams are participating in the tournament which will culminate on October 4.
