Dhansiri Titans were crowned champions of the 4th Edition of the Women’s Champions Trophy 2025.

APUR, APRIL 30 (MExN): Dhansiri Titans were crowned champions of the 4th Edition of the Women’s Champions Trophy 2025 after holding their nerve to clinch a thrilling 1-wicket win over Doyang Queens in a low-scoring final at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium in Chümoukedima on Wednesday.
Chasing a modest target of 66, the Titans stuttered throughout their innings before scraping home in 24.1 overs, thanks to a vital knock of 13 from Talirenla Pongen and late-order grit.

Earlier, the Doyang Queens were bowled out for just 65 in 21.5 overs after electing to bat first. Only one batter, Sungjemmenla (10), managed to reach double figures, as the Titans’ bowlers kept a tight leash.
Imsusenla Longkumer led the bowling effort with a brilliant 4 for 16 from her 8 overs, while Rwisumwi Basumatari provided ample support with figures of 3 for 23.
Despite the low target, Doyang Queens almost turned the game on its head, riding on a sensational spell from Kajenkala, who picked up 5 for 15 in 8 overs to keep the contest alive till the final over. But the Titans managed to cross the line with one wicket in hand, sparking jubilant celebrations.
The Nagaland Cricket Association lauded all participating teams and hailed the success of the fourth edition of the tournament.
