Dharti Aaba Abhiyan Campaign launched in Zunheboto town

The Dharti Aaba Abhiyan Campaign was launched in Zunheboto Town with the primary aim of increasing public awareness and ensuring maximum coverage of various government welfare schemes. The campaign focused on reaching residents from different villages within the district to connect them with benefits they are eligible for.

The action plan prepared for the campaign detailed the strategies, key activities, and monitoring mechanisms to effectively carry out awareness and benefit saturation camps throughout the district.

As part of the campaign, various departments conducted specific services for the public. The District Administration facilitated Aadhar enrollment. The Medical Department provided Ayushman Bharat health insurance registration, carried out immunization drives. The Agriculture Department conducted awareness on PMKISAN. Social Welfare Department created awareness about the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY). Department of Food and Civil Supplies facilitated ration card registration under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).

The awareness and benefit saturation camp was held on June 16 at the Multipurpose Hall in Zunheboto town. The camp catered to residents from various villages including Asukhomi, Lochomi, Yezami, Lizu Avigato, Lizu New, Lizu Old, Lizu Naghuto, Baimho, Natha Old, Sheipu, Sukhalu, and Yemishe.

The event witnessed active participation from community members, government officials, and service providers.
