Mon, October 23 (MExN): District Health Society (DHS), Mon organized a farewell programme for its retiring Chief Medical Officer, Dr UK Konyak on October 20.
The programme began with invocation prayer by YP David, Chaplain, DH Mon. Welcome address was given by Dr Akaba, Dy CMO, followed by presentation. Appreciating his service, the District Hospital, CMO establishment, doctors, nurses, NHM, Konyak doctors spoke on behalf of their respective departments.
Meanwhile, Dr UK Konyak also shared his experiences and the strong bond he had with all the employees. He named each and every head of the department and thanked and wished them luck for the coming years. He also mentioned that he is retiring as CMO but when need be he can always be remembered and can be approached for any help.
