One boy in his teens died after drowning in the Dhansiri River in Dimapur on February 15.
According to the police, the tragic incident occurred about a 100m upstream of the bridge at Kuda village (formerly Full Nagarjan).
The victim had reportedly gone to the river bank around noon to wash clothes.
The police said he was a 14 year-old Naga boy but did not disclose his name.
His body was recovered around 3:00pm by State Disaster Response Force personnel and local volunteers.
