DIMAPUR, MAY 3 (MExN): Several Dimapur based organizations while thanking the efforts of the district’s special committee on COVID-19, has stated that its role will be crucial now while bringing back stranded citizens from other parts of the country, when the decision is made to do so.
A joint statement from the Naga Counci Dimapur, Naga Women Hoho, Dimapur Naga Students Union, Dimapur Sardar GB Association, Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation and Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry said this while pointing out that Dimapur is the gateway to Nagaland.
They expressed confidence that the Special Committee already having full experience with the ground situation of Dimapur will be able to handle the situation with regard to inflow of people from outside with ease. The organizations further assured full cooperation to jointly fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
