Morung Express New Dimapur | December 3 A visit to GLWS Night Bazaar Dimapur at Naga Shopping Arcade, Dimapur offers its patrons a wide range of gastronomical delight backed with live music and games. But it is the impromptu performances from the revelers that provide the most entertainment. The event which concluded today was jointly organised by the Act of Kindness and East Dimapur Sumi Students Union. Started on November 28, the night bazaar featured various events for the night and competition including Tastiest Food Award, Best Stall Award, Dance Competition, Live Concert, Hindi Night, Acoustic Night, Cosplay and DJ Night etc. A visit to the bazaar on Friday night offered glimpses of the varieties. Cosplay aficionados in their striking customs from Dimapur Anime Guild mingled with the revelers while in a Karaoke stand, young impromptu singer competed with those performing onstage. Besides the games and stage performances, the stalls that attracted the most crowds were the various food joints with their delectable offering. While a ‘Runaway food truck’ gives you the choicest fast food, others like raw passion and other food stall gives you money worth of gastro delight while Bubble Fair, Lana Dey Dices games vies for your attention. The most crowded, however, were local brew ‘Zutho’ stands that offered first timer as well as old timers a reason to enjoy the bazaar. On Friday night, the show was stolen by an impromptu dance performance by a man who came and started swaying to the music playing in the background. Gradually, his unique performance attracted a considerable crowd who demanded more. After a few dance performances, he went home richer by a few bucks. After visiting all the stalls, the final destination is the stage where one is entertained by diverse sets of performances, and one returns home satiated – mentally and physically.
