Dimapur DC informs on measures for JEE, NEET exams

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 31 (MExN): Dimapur Deputy Commissioner (DC), Rajesh Soundararajan, has informed of the various measures to be taken in light of the JEE mains 2020 and NEET examination to be conducted by the National Testing Agency from September 1 to 6, and September 13 respectively.

A press release from the DC informed that candidates on production of admit card for the said examination will be allowed entry into the State of Nagaland.

After entry, the candidates may be allowed unhindered movement through All Police Check Gates/ Check Post following all safety protocols to their residences and quarantine there provided their residences have facilities for home quarantine. If the candidates do not have the required facilities, they will be quarantined in a paid facility-hotel/lodges.

Candidates on the day of examination will directly proceed from their residence/paid facilities to the examination centres while maintaining social distancing norms.

After appearing the examination, if the candidate wishes to stay back in the state, he/she will need to undergo necessary testing for COVID-19 as per the SOPs in place.
