
Dimapur, October 6 (MExN): The monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Dimapur district was held on October 5 at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner Dimapur.
Initiating the meeting, DC Dimapur Sushil Kumar Patel, IAS who is also the Vice Chairman of DPDB Dimapur welcomed all the new officers posted at Dimapur.
A DIPR report stated that reviewing last meeting minutes, the house decided to forward the documents pertaining to upgradation of Riverbelt School, Full Nagarjan, Dimapur as all papers were found to be in order.
Registration of the following societies was deliberated and forwarded to the Home Department for further necessary action. Nagaland Importer and Exporter Association, Notun Basti Dimapur; Tribal Weave, Duncan Basti; Kevichusa Foundation Society, East Block Colony, Burma camp; Mobilise Actions for Change; Skilled Educational Society, East Police colony Dimapur and Helping Hand for Empowerment, Livelihood and Progress, Darogajan village, Dimapur.
With regard to the agenda for construction of main building of Government Hindi Institute, the House decided to work out and see whether the concerned department could take up the matter.
In the meeting, the House agreed to hold the departmental Sports week from October 21 to 23 and for which the DC informed that a committee would be constituted to work out on it. Power and Urban Development department presented the departmental activities.
