DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 11 (MExN): Dimapur Football League (DFL) merchandise - flags, official shirts and mufflers – was launched today. According to a press release from the DFL media and publicity cell Vitho Zao, President, Business Association of Nagas was the Chief Invitee at the launch programme. The release said that Zao expressed optimism that the DFL would from strength to strength and assured full support of BAN towards the League. “He said that the main objective of BAN is to uplift the Naga people by supporting one another and buying products from each other.”
The release further quoted DFL Finance Secretary, Vikato Aye as stating that the DFL was a long cherished dream of the organizers, Naga United Football Club. While stating, “The purpose of introducing DFL is to give opportunity to local talents, he said that the League would get better season by season.
The release also informed that for the opening weekend - September 14 and 15, entry will be free.
