Dimapur, March 14 (MExN): The Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd, Dimapur will be organizing one day workshop/seminar on ‘awareness on the schemes of DC (H), GI Act, GeM portal, use of e-commerce platform and other marketing supports for the development of handicrafts of North Eastern Region.’
It will be held at Urban Haat, Dimapur under Research & Development Scheme on March 24 and 29, sponsored by the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, said Zakabo V Rotokha, NCS, Managing Director, NHHDC Ltd in a press release.
Interested artisans having ID card issued by the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India are requested to apply to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, along with their respective xerox copy of the ID cards on or before March 23, for the First batch and March 27 for the Second batch during office hours.
“All participants must be COVID Vaccinated and follow strict SOPs laid down by the Government of Nagaland. All artisans will be provided TA and DA,” the release added.
