Dimapur, December 3 (MExN): On the occasion of World Computer Literacy Day on December 2, NIITians of Dimapur center pledged “Each One, Reach One” to spread computer literacy in Nagaland. Ajay Sethi, Managing Director, NIIT Dimapur Center exhorted the NIITians to move faster than the pace of the change, which he reminded is the only constant.
Citing the movie Matrix and the advances made in the field of artificial intelligence, internet of things, virtual reality, robotics, machine learning etc, he informed the students to learn the latest technologies to be better prepared for the future.
Thanks to the reasonably priced Jio services, India has become the leading user of mobile data surpassing USA and China which is helping India to connect and gain knowledge like never before, he stated.
Lungdsuo Mozhui, NIIT faculty informed the gathering about the NIIT initiative of World Computer Literacy Day (WCLD) on its foundation day in 2001, which has resulted in digital transformation of the country bridging the digital divide, informed a press release from Daniel Changkiri, Group Leader, NIIT Dimapur Center.
Speaking on the occasion, Rishav Sethi, engineering student of Delhi Technology University (DCE) threw light on the differences between North India and North-East in the field of technology.
