Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The Dimapur Police (AET Zone-II) apprehended one person namely, Hutoshe Aye (43 yrs), a resident of Medical Colony, Niuland, Dimapur on September 30, while illegally collecting tax in the name of NSCN (U) from taxi drivers near NST Bus Stand Dimapur. The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police/PRO in a press release informed that 1 No. of illegal vehicle tax slip of NSCN (U) and a cash amount of Rs 1000 was recovered / seized from his possession. “In this connection, a case has been registered at Dimapur East Police Station,” it formed.
Meanwhile, the Dimapur Police also apprehend one person namely, Akaho Zhimomi (47 yrs) of NSCN (R) on September 30 while extorting money from butcher shops at Duncan Bosti area, Dimapur. “In this connection, a case has been registered at Dimapur West Police Station,” the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police informed.
