Dimapur, October 23 (MExN): The Special Operation Team (SOT) of Dimapur Police, on October 23, has arrested two NSCN (K) cadres in connection with the ‘attempt on life’ on L Doulo, the proprietor of Kuda cold storage at 5th Mile Dimapur on September 18. The police had registered a case under Diphupar PS in this connection. A press release from Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police/PRO Dimapur informed that they “were finally arrested by Dimapur police after more than a month of tracking their whereabouts.” The police identified the cadres as ‘Capt.’ Hekato Chopy (34) of Litsami village under Zunheboto and Aliet Haflongbar (27) of Ganeshnagar village, Doyapur under Dimapur. Both are presently residing in Doyapur. During interrogation, the accused Hekato Chophy admitted of committing the crime, the release said. An amount of rupees one lakh, a camouflage shirt and magazine pouch were also recovered from their possession, it added.
