Dimapur, May 31 (MExN): The Dimapur Police on May 29 last, arrested one person namely Abdul Suhid of Bowalgiri village, Po/Ps Kurimari Dist Morigaon from Railway Platform Area and recovered five numbers of plastic soap cases suspected to be Shan Flower, weighing 56 grams.
In this connection a case has been registered and investigation on going, stated an officials press release from the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur.
On the same day at about 1730 hrs Dimapur Police arrested one person namely Mazada Begum, age 52 yrs, V/o. Kunusa, Po/PS Jagi Road, Dist Naringi, Assam P/a Kunusa, Assam was apprehended from Railway Platform and recovered two numbers of soap boxes suspected to be Shan Flower weighing 21 grams. “In this connection a case has been registered under relevant provision of law and investigation on going,” the CP added.
“War on Drugs, the endeavour by Commissionerate Police covering the three districts of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland continues unabated to combat illegal trafficking of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances through stringent force deployment,” he asserted.
