Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): Dimapur Police at the East Police Station, on February 6 at around 7:45 am received a telephonic call from general public Dimapur, that one unidentified person was found lying dead below Flyover Bridge near Chümoukedima Auto stand.
Accordingly, basing on the information the duty party rushed to the PO site and conducted inquest over the dead body, stated a press release issued by Dy. Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur.
No foul play could be established. One bag was found nearby the dead body and on search of the bag, found medical treatment history of the deceased from CIHSR and ascertained the deceased as Yangtichuba (30), it stated.
It was also learned that the deceased was under medical treatment at CIHSR since December 4, 2022 and was discharged on January 5, 2023.
On completion of all legal formalities the dead body has been shifted to District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and detail identification of the dead body, the police informed.
