Dimapur, June 15 (MExN): The St Thomas Mission Society, Dimapur distributed food kits with essential items to COVID-19 lockdown affected families in an around Dimapur and border areas of Assam-Nagaland on June 14.
Mission Society Secretary, Fr Dr PS Varghese, along with Rev Fr Gemcy Eappen, Mission Society treasure KC Mathew, accountant Anoop Cherian, Church Managing Committee members and women volunteers maintaining safety measures, packed and distributed food kits to the students families and needy families near in Midland, Sachu colony, Rio colony, Dhobinala and border areas of Assam-Dimapur.
The 8th phase of the society's 'Food for Security' COVID-19 relief program covered 50 beneficiaries. Till date the St Thomas Mission Society has distributed 590 food kits.
