Ram Janaki wins first match against Little Star HSS
DIMAPUR, MARCH 27 (MExN): Ram Janaki School won by 9 wickets against Little Star Higher Secondary School in the first match of the Dimapur U-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament 2024 which went underway at Dimapur District Sports Council stadium today. The tournament was organised by the Dimapur District Cricket Association under the aegis of Nagaland Cricket Association.
Put to bat first, Little Star Higher Secondary School managed to score 63 runs for the loss of 10 wickets. Kihika scored a superb 19 runs. For Ram Janaki, Akash Gupta was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped 3 wickets. In the run chase, Ram Janaki School got off to a good start, Satyam Kumar scored 30 runs not out. The Man of the Match was awarded to Akash Gupta. Altogether 10 schools are participating in the tournament from Dimapur.
