Dimapur, May 25 (MExN): A list of resolutions were agreed by the Diphupar B village during the meeting held on May 16 at the residence of its head GB, which was attended by all the GBs headed by Hd GB, leaders of all the communities, leaders of Women & Youth organisations and DBs under the chairmanship of the Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) of Chumukedima, B Henok Buchem.
The EAC in a press note stated that the house resolved to extend full cooperation for the timely completion of the audit after which the council election shall be conducted.
All concerned agreed that all outstanding issues against various community(s) or individual(s) on or after the 8th April 2011 shall stand resolved in the spirit of forgive and forget Henceforth, no community(s) or individual (s) shall take any step against any community(s) or individual(s) which may vitiate the peace and harmony in the village. Also to "refrain from any activity including press release, explanation calls, non cooperations, ex-communications, show cause notices etc which may create Law & Order problems".
Moreover, that all concerned shall henceforth work in unity and cooperations on all issues for the larger interest and welfare of the general public of the village.
It also stated that failure to adhere to the resolutions by any community(s), individual(s) or the village functionaries shall be dealt with appropriately as per the provisions of the Law. “This order comes into force with immediate effect till further orders.”
