Neiba Kronu, Parliamentary Secretary (Horticulture) is being felicitated by staffs of Directorate of Horticulture on March 12.
Dimapur, March 12 (MExN): The Directorate of Horticulture, Nagaland convened a welcome programme in honour of Neiba Kronu, Parliamentary Secretary (Horticulture) on March 12 at the Horticulture Directorate Conference Hall, Kohima.
A press release stated that the programme was chaired by Watienla Jamir, Director of Horticulture who gave the welcome address. An overview of Horticulture Department was briefed by Pawan Kumar, Joint Director of Horticulture. Activities on Horticulture project and its implementations in the districts were highlighted by the respective District Horticulture Officers.
A short speech was delivered by the Parliamentary Secretary, Horticulture. He stressed on the sincerity, punctuality and hard work to make the activities of the department visible and make Horticulture a major Department in the days to come. He also pointed out the importance of crop zoning as per the climatic requirements of the crops and proper infrastructure for the success of the horticultural activities. The vote of thanks was given by Neibanuo Iralu, Deputy Director of Horticulture.
