Longleng, September 27 (MExN): Disability Assessment Camp by the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Cooperation of India (ALMCO) in coordination with the District Administration and the Department of Social Welfare, Longleng commenced at the Public Ground, Longleng on September 26.
ALIMCO (Team) (Rehabilitation Expert), Dr Suman Kumar, Prosthetist & Orthotist; Dr Ajay Kr Pandit, Prosthetist & Orthotist; Dr Sweety Rani Boro, Audiologist; Dr Jagannath Saboo, Audiologist; Dr. Yongendra Singh, Dentist Technician; and Dr Rudrapratap Singh, Dentist Technician were the team of doctors from Gauhati at the camp.
On day one, the following villages were covered: Longleng Town, Hamlikong, Orangkong, Alayong, Noksosang, Sanglu, and Yaongyimchen village. The camp will culminate at Tamlu on October 1.
On day one a total of 220 beneficiaries were registered and availed the medical aid.
All the beneficiaries under the Longleng district have been requested to avail the facilities as scheduled.
