‘Everyone Goes Down’ – the debut album of Disciple of Love, an upcoming band from Longleng was released in Dimapur on January 20. According to the band - comprising D. Denlei Angh (vocals), Shambit Sharma (drums), Monglang Phom (bass) and Francis B. Lungthah (lead guitar), the album was the fruition of an eight-year dream.
Formed in 2008, the band was earlier known as P-Branch with late Lungpang Angh on vocals, Francis B Lungthah on lead guitar, Monglang on bass, Shinglong on drums. After the demise of Lungpang, the band was rechristened ‘Disciple of Love’ in 2016.
Releasing the album at the Lighthouse Church, Tali Angh urged the band members not to under-estimate humble beginnings or be carried away by fame and success; rather be motivated by the purpose of God. Pursue “character, presence of God and Excellence,” Angh said.
The 8-track album, recorded at Tribes Studio, Dimapur, features Faith, The memories, Walk, Why she cried, Out of control, You my everything and Inside you.
