Mokokchung, September 17 (MExN): Distribution of aids and assistive devices to the beneficiaries under the ADIP (Assistance to Disabled Persons) scheme, an Initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), was held at the Conference Hall of ADC (Planning), Mokokchung on September 17. According to the assessment taken from July 5 to 8, a total of 92 Persons with Disabilities and 668 Senior Citizens (Rashtriya Vayoshriyojana) were identified in Mokokchung District. During the programme, assistive devices were distributed to 46 PwDs, stated a DIPR report. It was informed that distribution in the Subdivisions will also be done, which will be informed by the respective Administrative Officers.
