DIMAPUR, JULY 19 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Anoop Khinchi, IAS, who is also the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Dimapur Government College, and Albert Ezung, DMC Administrator, visited the college on July 18.
After a walk through the campus, the visiting officials ceremoniously planted a pine sapling each at the entrance of the new Science Block to kick start the plantation and beautification drive initiated by Eco & Beautification Club and IQAC, DGC.
The drive is part of the Green Campus Project of the college. The Principal, Vice Principal, Senior HA, IQAC, RUSA and Eco & Beautification Club members of DGC were also present. The Green Campus Project has been adopted as a best practice of DGC, in keeping with the national objectives on increasing green cover in the country.
