DMC Chief Advisor clarifies on misinformation

Dimapur, August 15 (MExN): Following rumors and misinformation spreading around Dimapur especially among the tenants of Dimapur Municipal Council in regard to a press statement that appeared in local dailies on August 4 2010 directing the stall allotees for formal agreement between DMC and individual allotees, the Chief Advisor, DMC Er. K. Keditsu has said that any formal deed/agreement against the allotment to be signed between DMC and individual allotees is purely for the benefit of the allotees.

Clarifying the misinformation that signing of agreement between the two parties which is initiated by the present team DMC advisors, is against the interest of the allottees and for the benefit of the DMC, the DMC chief advisor has made it clear that whatever the DMC has initiated is purely to safeguard the interest of the tenants and not to serve the interest of the present DMC advisors or the DMC establishment in any manner.

Also clarifying misinformation with regard to hiking of DMC toll fees, Er. Kedistu has pointed out that DMC has not gone for any hike but has enhanced the lease fees from those who have taken DMC toll tax collection on lease for DMC and the decision was taken with the willful consent of the concerned leasees.
