DIMAPUR, MAY 9 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has notified that the last date for renewal of trade licences for the year 2025–2026 is May 31, 2025. In a notification issued by Chief Executive Officer Thungchanbemo Tungoe on Thursday, the DMC stated that this directive is in continuation of an earlier notification dated May 2, 2023, concerning the renewal process.
All business establishments operating within the DMC jurisdiction have been directed to complete the renewal of their trade licences on or before the due date to avoid penalties.
The council cautioned that late fines will be imposed as per the provisions of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023, and relevant DMC regulations. The notification further stated that no request for extension beyond the stipulated deadline will be entertained.
