DNSU questions functioning of Dimapur BSL-2 lab

Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students' Union (DNSU) on Friday issued a statement in support of the Naga Council Dimapur on July 30 press release questioning the functioning of the Dimapur BSL-2 lab.

In the release, the DNSU demanded to know why the BSL-2 Lab at CIHSR been was rendered out of service and why the chemicals and reagents not restocked immediately.

It also questioned the delay in results of more than 70 staff of NST Dimapur whose samples were collected on July 24, while pointing out that result of VIP's bodyguards and drivers whose samples were collected on July 26 were already declared.

Demanding “immediate response from the Government within the stipulated time mentioned by the NCD,” the DNSU cautioned that “these issues will be taken to the streets of Dimapur,” while also demanding that a BSL-3 lab be installed at Dimapur District Hospital.
