Israel as a country and its people called as Israelis are known for their denials and lies. They live by these characteristics. For everything the Israelis and their country—Israel openly negate each and every action being inflicted against the people of Palestine. Denials after denials does mean ‘negations of negations’. Israelis are adding each and every action or statement which would eventually become bundles of contradictions. Entire world is witnessing Israel’s brutal and lethal attacks inflicting individual and collective pain and misery to the Palestinians.
Use of deadly weapons and horrendous techniques by the state of Israel demolishing everything—approximately more than 80% of Gaza’s utilities and facilities including killing and maiming to the tune of several lakhs. The entire world is witnessing the gravity and intensity of devastations that the ruling dispensation is engaged with the people and its locales. Decimating and converting the Gaza Strip as a grave yard looks like a ghost town that can never be digested as Gaza which looked 22-months ago—hustling and bustling.
Right from day one—8th October, 2023, the far-right Israeli Jewish Zionists kept saying, such as Yoav Gallant, in the cabinet said that “We are imposing a complete siege (Gaza). No electricity, no food, no water, no food—everything closed. We are fighting human animals and we must act accordingly.”. There’s no mincing of words as far as Israelis are concerned. They have been systematically employing all these. More to it for the past four months the international organizations have been warning that Gaza is on the brink of famine. It is hitting all areas and all the people. As days pass by the intensity and ferocity of famine could grow.
The images coming out of Gaza have been horrific and heart-wrenching. Photos and videos have gone viral—on news sites and on social media showing clearly malnourished babes, children, boys, girls, men and women facing starvation and, in the process, embracing death as their skin cling to their bones with barely anything in-between. Words hardly could explain the horrible and pathetic images that are before us day-in and day-out. The state of Israel has systematically worked out a process which would eventually lead more than the present.
Food and other survival needs are available in plenty a few meters away, but can never be approached or gotten as the Government of Israel has stopped sending the trucks that carries the essential supplies for the survival of the Palestinians for months. Prior to the Gaza war more than 700 trucks used to enter Gaza, now hardly a few trucks have been allowed. Why is it the ruling dispensation stopped tucks that carries food and relief materials to Gazans? The actions of the Israel government are vicious and deliberate. It is human-triggered and leveraged.
Deliberately inducing an entire population to live in hunger and starvation is to be considered as intentional. There is a motive behind the act. However, there’s something about the visibility of human-triggered famine that the ruling dispensation of Israel, the majority of Israelis, and their supporters endorse does cross a moral threshold. Keeping a mass of population in Gaza cannot be spun as collateral damage or merely the cost of war – a messaging tactic that Israel has been justifying in its killing of innocent people despite plenty of evidence is genocidal.
When the experts and others say the State of Israel is inflicting starvation on the people of Palestinians. One of the exerts on hunger and starvation de Waal said “It is beyond dispute that you have to starve people systematically because it takes so long.” Israel’s use of starvation as a weapon of war is a known fact and well-documented by many agencies, including the UNO. ICC indicted Israeli PM Netanyahu for war crime that includes the use of starvation as a method of warfare. Israel’s mass starvation of Gaza is, by definition, a form of collective punishment.
Using starvation as a weapon of war is illegal and criminal act under international law. The level at which Israel is engaged is part of a long history of weaponizing food and basic resources. It has been a strategy and a mode used in the past by Nazis and dictators. It is intentional, and not accidental. Everything is available in plenty—a few kilometers away, but not allowed, and so, not be consumed. Dr. Mark Manary of Washington University in St. Louis, an expert on child malnutrition saysthat “I am speechless that in 2025, we are facing starvation on the planet.” Continuing further, he added that “It’s got to be a wake-up call.”
Continuing further, UN chief Guiterez said “This is not a mystery – it is a man-made disaster, a moral indictment and a failure of humanity itself.” A moral person who governs with a set of moral principles would accept the whatever is happening is due to his decisions and actions. If we take Bibi, the Israeli Prime Minister and his cabinet along with people of Israel tends to deny the killings, destruction, and starvation in Gaza, questioning the news and data that are spread and provided across the globe are lies, and not true, including the images.
Israelis call themselves as ‘chosen people’ and ‘chosen race’ by their God Yahweh, still live in bundles of lies that are blatant. As people and as Jews who believe in lots of traditions and religious practices as prescribed by Torah, live in utterances utterly contradictory to their religious pronouncement and adherences. It then opens up the pandora box of their religiosity and ethics of the Jews. Having destroyed the domiciles, the livelihood, education, employment, and the future of the Palestinians, and then Israel goes on saying it did not do it and what others say are all lies.
Increasingly I see total bankruptcy of Israelis’ spirituality and moral degradations. A society that lives on denial modes, not believing in ethical values and moral codes can go to any extent of saying and believing that they’re ‘right’, and others are ‘wrong’. The entire world is keeping quiet to the Israel’s lies and fake narratives and not acting or countering except a few should also be grouped with the Israelis as they are also in support and show solidarity.
What we are witnessing is utterly outrageous. What’s happening in front of us is evil. The state of Israel the occupying force though we know the atrocities we tend to keep quiet and become part and part of the slaughter of Palestinians by Israelis. The Foreign Secretary of Britain Lammy called the crisis as “The Israeli government’s refusal to allow sufficient aid into Gaza has cause this man-made catastrophe This is a moral outrage”. We ought to act and should never be silent. No individual, or nation, or society can moralise ‘weaponization of starvation’.
