DoA organises training Geo Tagging

Dimapur, October 11 (MExN): The Department of Agriculture (DoA) Kohima, Nagaland organised a ‘One Day Training programme of Master Trainers on Geo Tagging for RKVY Assets’ on October 11 at Conference Hall, Directorate of Agriculture Kohima.  

The main objective of the programme was to train and skilled Master Trainers who will further train District Level Officers, functionaries for Geo-Tagging of all infrastructure Assets created under RKVY flagship programme since inception, a DoA press release informed.  

Dr. P.V. Krishna Rao, Scientist NRSC, Hyderabad and Manoj Lokhari, Research Scientist from NRSE were the resource persons at the workshop.  

Welcoming two resource persons from National Remote Sensing Centre, Hyderabad as well as officers from Allied Department, the Director of Agriculture Helie Rupre-o requested participating officers to be attentive in the training and get acquainted with the technology.  

During the training programme, the resource person conducted Training and Demonstration to the participating officers.  

Altogether 35 officers from Agriculture, Horticulture, Vety. & Animal Husbandry, Sericulture, Fisheries, Soil & Water conservation, Honey Mission, Nagaland Bamboo Mission, Bio-resources, Co-operation and LRD attended the Day Long Training Programme.
