The Department of Health & Family Welfare (DoHFW) held a farewell programme on May 1 to honour five retiring senior officers for their years of dedicated service to the department.
KOHIMA, MAY 1 (MExN): The Department of Health & Family Welfare (DoHFW), Nagaland, held a farewell programme on May 1 at the IDSP Hall, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, to honour five retiring senior officers for their years of dedicated service to the department.
The officers who retired include Dr Meribeni Odyuo, Director (Dental); Dr Khansao Alex, Additional Director (Dental); Kepelhoutsei-ü Suohu, Joint Director (Nursing); Krononu Kraho, Deputy Director (Nursing); and Tsukjenmongla, Deputy Director (Nursing).
The programme was chaired by Dr Sendimeren Aonok, Director (H&ME), with an invocation pronounced by Thinuohelie Sachu, Research Officer. Dr Mereninla Senlem, Director and Head of Department, delivered a citation and speech, expressing deep appreciation for the valuable contributions made by the outgoing officers. She acknowledged their commitment and service, and conveyed best wishes for their future endeavors and retirement.
In their farewell remarks, the retiring officers shared words of encouragement and reflected on their careers with heartfelt recollections and gratitude. The programme concluded with a benediction by Dr Reyosalu Vizo, Deputy Director (Dental).
