Kohima, August 23 (MExN): Indian and foreign nationals who received earlier doses COVID-19 vaccines abroad, can now be provided with remaining doses of any domestically available or approved COVID-19 vaccines in the country, as per the recommendation of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI). In this connection, State Immunization Officer (SIO) Dr Ritu Thurr informed the Chief Medical Officers of all the districts that necessary provisions on COWIN portal are being made available for the same especially to create their records and further take the doses they are due for. Dr Thurr directed the CMOs to extend the necessary services, ensure wide publicity and all necessary measures for smooth implementation.
