A one-day live concert dubbed the ‘Bosco Fest’ is set to take place with the turn of the New Year at Don Bosco School Dimapur on January 7, 2024. This was announced during a press conference at the office of the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU), Bank colony, Dimapur on December 20.
Organised by the members of Don Bosco Alumni Dimapur and DNSU, the event will feature three acts, Dr Palash Sen aka, Euphoria, Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Lenen Jamir.
Elaborating on why DNSU will be an event partner, the student body’s President, Moayanger Jamir explained that more than just a concert, it will pave the way for empowering the youths through rolling out various other programmes including personality development, career and higher education consultation.
Manishankar Das, a past pupil and Secretary of the Don Bosco Park Circus Alumni Kolkata meanwhile added this will be done through the proceeds generated from the event which will go towards investing in various other initiatives of the association. As such, he appealed to the people to come and be a part of the event.
Imti Imsong, President of Don Bosco Alumni mentioned that the ticket prices have been set at: Rs 2999 for Platinum (seated); Rs 1999 for Gold (seated); Rs 999 for Silver (seated); Rs 499 for Bronze (seated).
