Don Bosco Tech inaugurates fourth batch of skill training

Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): Don Bosco Tech, Assisi Centre in Dimapur inaugurated the fourth batch of its skill training programme on October 27 at WWC Hall here. The event coincided with Parents’ Meet.  

Hito Shohe, proprietor of The Indian Restaurant and Furry Friends, a pet store, in his speech as the chief guest assured the young people present at the event that “the trade wind is ready for you to set sail.”  

According to a press release, Hito pointed out that in Nagaland educated youth tend to seek more of white collar jobs in various government departments not realizing that unemployment has hit the rock bottom.  

He further recounted that as an upcoming entrepreneur in hospitality sector, paucity of funds was not the only constraint he faced; lack of skills prompted him to undergo skills training in cooking and baking in Delhi and Bangalore respectively.  

It was also informed that he completed few courses in dog training and have won more than 20 awards in national levels.  

Maintaining that luck favours the prepared, he asked the young people to be devoted, dedicated, and committed. The chief guest also emphasized on hard work and believing in oneself.  

“No matter what, follow your dream. And your life will never be the same,” he added.
