The DOPSMEDIA Neri Trust marked its inauguration and Foundation Day on December 14.

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 20 (MExN): The DOPSMEDIA Neri Trust marked its inauguration and Foundation Day on December 14 with a series of key events and addresses.
The program was chaired by Suriba, Public Information Secretary, and began with a dedication of the office by Rev M Shonka, Pastor of Nagamese Baptist Church, Master Colony, Dimapur.
Tsimongse, Proprietor-Cum-Chairman of DOPSMEDIA Neri Trust, delivered the welcome address and provided a brief overview of the establishment and objectives of the office. He emphasized the organization's mission and the importance of community engagement.
Kiyelu Yeptho, Functional Manager of DIC Dimapur, served as the guest of honour and spoke on the significance of skill development. He encouraged the DOPSMEDIA members to focus on enhancing skills in areas such as artisan, craftsmanship, and weaving. He further highlighted that individuals with specific skills could access various government schemes and improve their livelihood opportunities.
T. Among also addressed the gathering, offering insights into the differences between Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and enterprise activities, emphasizing the importance of understanding these distinctions for successful community initiatives.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by P Wanmai Konyak, O/S Principal Secretary & General, who expressed gratitude to the attendees. The program ended with a mass prayer.
