DoSE seeks public assistance to register out of school children

Kohima, April 15 (MExN): The Department of School Education (DoSE), on April 14, has sought appealed to members of NGOs, municipal/town/village councils, churches, student unions and the general public to register details of Out of School Children (OoSC)  in the age group of 6 - 16 years.

The OoSC are those who are not enrolled in any school or dropped out at any stage before completing secondary education.

In a public appeal, the DoSE Principal Director, Thavaseelan K informed that the children can be registered in the Google Form link provided on the DoSE, Nagaland Online Education Services Portal https://dosenl.in.

This would enable the department to device mechanism for arranging special training and mainstreaming the OoSC in appropriate classes at neighbouring Government Schools or National Open School, he added.
