Dimapur, May 31 (MExN): Delhi Public School Dimapur organised a felicitation ceremony for the AISSCE Class XII (2018) achievers of the school on May 31.
The School mentioned in a press release that every year academic awards are given away to acknowledge the achievements of the academically gifted students and also to encourage students to aspire for greater academic accomplishments. DPS Dimapur has prided itself as a premier institute of learning where students are provided with a healthy and competitive environment to help them grow, realise their true potential and prepare them to face the world.
The recently declared AISSCE result is a testament of the claims made by the school. DPS Dimapur set new records of topping the charts in North East India with splendid performance of Sakshi Jain (Commerce Stream) with 97.8% and also by registering a 100% pass percentage in all the streams (Arts, Science and Commerce).
Altogether 39 students (Art, Science and Commerce) who won accolades for the school by securing 80% and above were felicitated in the programme held in the presence of the School Management members, parents, teachers and students. 9 students scoring 90% - 94.8% were awarded with a cheque of Rs. 15,000/- each; 3 students scoring 95% - 97.8% were awarded a cheque of Rs. 25,000/- each besides Appreciation Certificates from the school. Sakshi Jain was awarded an additional Rs. 5000/- for her spectacular achievement.
