Dimapur, May 29 (MExN): The 4th Inter-School Music Fest (Open Genre Choral Competition) organised by Delhi Public School Dimapur was held on May 26. Inter-School Music Fest is organised as a yearly event inorder to provide opportunities to develop and hone the students’ skills, explore talents and abilities besides providing a platform for interaction amongst students and music teachers. Chairman of Dimapur Public School Society S.I.Jamir graced the occasion as the chief guest. Altogether five schools participated in the event: Maple Tree School, Hollotoli School, Hope Academy, Woodstock School and Delhi Public School Dimapur. The panel of judges for the event were Avoni Odyuo, Alobo Naga, and Aroko Nagi. DPSD Choir lifted the running trophy with their superb, seamless performance of the song ‘Lightening’ by Greg Gilpin. The rendition of the audience’s favourite ‘A Million Dreams’ from ‘The Greatest Showman’ by the young singers of Hope Academy won them not only the hearts but the Runner-up position in the competition.
