Wins for Mokokchung, Tuensang and Kohima

Mokokchung, Tuensang and Kohima districts today registered wins in their respective matches at the ongoing 20th Inter District Football Championship 2019 (Dr. T. Ao Trophy) in commemoration of the 100th birth anniversary of Dr. T. Ao here played in the newly constructed Astro turf football pitch at Indira Gandhi Stadium.
In the first match of the day, Mokokchung defeated Longleng 5-2.
Suponglemba fetched a hat-trick for Mokokchung in the 10th, 42nd and 66th minute. Toshiwapang and Temjentoshi connected a goal each for the team in the 25th and 61st minute respectively.
Chingshen P. Buchem and Shepa B scored a goal each for Longleng in the 7th and 9th minute respectively.
In the second match, Tuensang blanked Dimapur 3-0 as L. Longkhoi Khiamniungan connected hat-trick in 61st, 69th and 72nd minute.
Kohima defeated Mon 2-1 in the last match of the day.
Yhunshalo Kemp opened the account for Kohima in 18th minute while Menguzelie Rutsa added another goal in the 42nd minute.
A lone goal for Mon came through the M. Angki Konyak in the 73rd minute.
