Dimapur District Football Association advanced to the competition final after defeating Peren District Football Association by a single goal.

Peren’s team pushed until the very last minute, but were disappointed by Dimapur's defence, which has yet to concede a goal. 

Pursunep's header in the 40th minute was enough for the Dimapur team to win the match.

In the first semi-final encounter, Dimapur got off to a stronger start as Kakhevi Assumi teased Peren's defender but couldn't hit the back of the goal. It was a brilliant move from Assumi, who grabs on to a cross for Pursunep to head into the net in the 40th minute.

Peren had chances to score, but their strikers missed many of their shots on target, sending the ball wide of their intended aim. Ratobe N Poireng missed two great chances for the Peren team. At the end of the final whistle, Peren team had to be contended as the losing semi-finalist of the tournament. 

Dimapur are the only team who are yet to concede a goal in the tournament winning all the five matches. Dimapur goalkeeper Humuka has to be credited for the success of the team.

After a 1-1 tie, Mon District Football Association defeated debutant Football Association Tseminyu district 5-4 in a tie breaker to advance to the finals of the championships. Mon played a terrific game in a hotly contested encounter to provide the visiting crowd with what they needed in a fast-paced game. The first half Mon dominated the match and broke the deadlock through their striker Laiwang Bohamm Konyak in the 29th minute. However that was not done yet as playmaker Sinenlo Kath scored a stunning lone-range kick in the 67th minute to bring back the game. 

Despite his goal, he had a match to forget as Tseminyu failed to build up their game into their play. He also missed the penalty during the crucial shootout bring an end to their saga. 

Mon captain Tingnyek (Ating) Konyak produced one of his finest performances in the tournament to helped the team through to the next round. His leadership quality and his ability to controll the game bought much tempo and momentum for the team.

During a tense penalty shootout, Honon Konyak missed his first penalty for Mon but it was not all over as Zeaneikho Miasalhou weak penalty was saved by Eshong Konyak in the third take for Tseminyu spotkick. Their playmaker Sinenlo Kath missed his penalty kick in the 6th spot kick as Pangtech Konyak scored the ending the penalty 5-4 ending the shootout in favor of Mon team. A heart break for debutant team Tseminyu as luck wasn't on their side and crushed out in the semi-final match via tie breaker. 

Mon will now play against Dimapur in the final match of the tournament on April 29.
