Dr Zavise Rume
Kohima, September 19 (MExN): A section of educationists across the country in India came together and unanimously resolved to form an association for all educationists in India under the banner of, ‘All India Education Forum.’
The Forum was formally formed on September 12 under the convenorship of Dr Zavise Rume from Nagaland.
Dr Rume stated that AIEF was formed with the objective to provide a common platform for the educationists, to promote healthy interaction on education, to improve the quality in education, to extend consultancy service in policy decision making on education, to network with education-related organisions; and to safeguard the interest of educationist in the country.
Presently, there are few hundred practicing educationists from different parts of the country registered with the Forum as members. The Forum is expected to register thousands practicing educationists from different education Institutions: NCERT, RIEs, SCERT, DIETs, UGC, NCTE, Universities, Colleges, schools, private institutions, training and research institutes.
