Kohima, September 29 (MExN): Directorate of Agriculture, Kohima conducted one day training for drivers of Agriculture Directorate at the Directorate Conference Hall on September 29.
A press release received here stated that dddressing at the programme, Additional Director of Agriculture, C Peter Yanthan exhorted the drivers to respect their duties and maintain disciplines, to perform their duties. He emphasized on the important role of a driver and also encouraged them to have patience integrity and devotion to duty as government servant.
N Jacob, Joint Director while highlighting power presentation on the important roles of road safety awareness he urged upon the drivers to maintain safety drive and uphold their duty with responsibilities. Yanthan stressed on the important of alertness, dress code, personal habits, temperament on road and driving etiquettes.
While the programme was chaired by N Jacob and vote of thanks was pronounced by Bendang Toshi Assistant Superintendent. Altogether 30 drivers attended the training programme.
