Dimapur, February 14 (MExN): Dimapur Rengma Students' Union (DRSU) has applauded the Joint Coordination Committee (JCC), Nagaland Tribes Action Committee (NTAC) and various apex tribal bodies across Nagaland for their “high wisdom” in reconsidering to let the NBSE examination 2017 be held as scheduled.
DRSU President Tenyebinlo Himb and Assistant General Secretary Daniel Kemp in a press release stated that “exempting 55,190 students from appearing their examination was indeed a fruitful decision made for the students' community.”
The union reminded all students not to deviate because of the present imbroglio in the State, but to focus on their goals and future.
It further appreciated the cooperation of volunteers for allowing all examinees, centre superintendents, school staffs, board officials, invigilators, public transport, and private vehicles to proceed for the exams “without any untoward incident.”
The union stated it will be monitoring the students within its jurisdiction for the exams to go ahead undisturbed and smoothly. It also wished all the students very best for the ongoing examination.
